Meet the Owners
Parker Rice
Parker Rice was born and raised in Asquith, Sk. He holds a diploma in the Architectural and Interior Design course from SIAST in Moose Jaw, Sk. Graduating in 2007, Parker moved to Saskatoon, Sk. There he worked for multiple Architectural firms. Parker found himself wanting a different change of pace and moved to Canora, Sk. to work for a local concrete company in 2010. In the fall of 2013 after working for a few local construction companies, Rice Construction Ltd. was born when Parker decided to start his own construction company.
Dayne Babchishin
Dayne Babchishin was born and raised in Sturgis, Sk. and spent many formative years in Edmonton, Ab. Dayne’s passion for construction started at a young age due to many of his family members working in the construction industry. After graduating high school in 1996, Dayne relocated to Saskatoon, Sk. to start his construction career. For over a decade Dayne was superintendent on numerous large commercial, industrial and agricultural projects. In 2008 Dayne decided to move back to small town Saskatchewan and settled in Canora. After working with a few local companies, Dayne joined Rice Construction Ltd. in 2017 and became a owner in 2020.
